The beautiful island of Mauritius is known for pristine beaches as one of the No.1 travel destinations voted by many throughout the world. Apart from travel and tourism, it seems fashion and shopping are fast becoming a trend with several brands rushing to hold forte in this beautiful island. Today, the World Fashion Awards (WFA)\u00a0 \u00a0announced their launch of a brand new annual fashion week in Mauritius in front of a\u00a0 fully packed press conference including over 250 attendees from influencers, fashion designers, and models. The announcement took place in London and marks the official launch of MFWA – Mauritius Fashion Week and Awards<\/strong> which is set to take place from the 13th to the 18th of December<\/strong><\/em> in Mauritius.<\/p>\n

A final schedule for Mauritius Fashion Week & Awards (MFWA) 2021 is set to be available from November on www.mauritiusfashionweek.org and will include both digital activations and physical events, adhering to Government guidelines on social distancing. The schedule will host over 30 <\/strong>designers including 20<\/strong> womenswear, 10<\/strong> menswear, and\u00a05<\/strong> accessories brands will grace the stage at the Fashion Dome on the 18th of December 2021.<\/p>\n

The MFWA digital platform, launched in July, will continue to serve as the Official Digital Hub and will be freely accessible to everyone, industry professionals and global fashion consumers alike. The platform will host exclusive multimedia content from designers and brand partners, enabling collaboration and bringing together fashion, culture, and technology.<\/p>\n

The main event will take place on the\u00a018th of December at La Vallee Village<\/strong>\u00a0from 11.00 am to 22.00\u00a0 and will include;<\/div>\n
