Streets Made Innovators<\/strong> have joined forces with Merky Ace<\/strong> to release the hit single \u2018MAAAD\u2019.\u00a0<\/strong>Streets Made Innovators<\/strong> (S.M.I.)<\/strong> are an English production duo composed of Leon Vandol<\/em><\/strong> and James Carn \u2018Carnage\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. The duo are from London and were formed in 2012 after being introduced by a mutual friend.<\/p>\n

With Vandol<\/strong> already producing alone under S.M.I<\/strong> and Carnage<\/strong> gigging as a session guitarist, they were both looking for the next piece of the puzzle in their music careers and having found a natural energy in the studio, the current S.M.I was born.Carnage\u2019s love for funk and rock music mixed with Vandol\u2019s<\/strong> already established minimalist Grime beats and their shared love of Jazz & Soul helped formed S.M.I\u2019s distinct sound it is today.<\/p>\n

The new single \u2018MAAAD\u2019<\/strong> sees South London, grime artist, Merky Ace currently signed to Dizzee Rascal , Dirtee Stank Recordings<\/strong> come to his own with a hard hitting flow on a rhythm that is sure to get fans of this genre excited.<\/p>\n

Merky Ace<\/strong> first came to prominence on the UK underground scene as part of grime\u2019s \u201cnew wave\u201d in 2011.In the same year he independently released his first mixtape\u00a0Blue Battlefield<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and followed it up with\u00a0Catch Up EP<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in the same year.\u00a0In 2012, Merky ACE<\/strong>recorded features for\u00a0Dizzee Rascal\u2019s \u00a0Dirtee TV 2<\/strong> mixtape which was released on Christmas of that year.\u00a0In 2013, he released two mixtapes \u2013\u00a0All Or Nothing<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Play Your Position<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 through grime label NoHatsNoHoods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The video for MAAAD <\/strong>was shot by production family powerhouse, The Thomas Brothers<\/strong>and sees the Street Made Innovators<\/strong> move forward in the future with a much more creative angle.<\/p>\n
