This feels like a marketing strategy rather than a genuine move towards progress. Are they really focused on providing the best education, or just trying to stay relevant in a competitive market?
As a former student of Wetherby, I think this change is long overdue. The world is changing, and schools need to reflect that. It could pave the way for a more holistic educational experience.
While I understand the shift towards admitting girls, I do wonder how it will affect the school's tradition and character. The unique experience of single-sex education has its merits that shouldn’t be overlooked.
It's about time these schools recognized the importance of inclusivity. I believe mixed-gender education can create a more collaborative environment for children.
