Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives) has partnered with the 8th annual National Film Awards UK to encourage Brits to discover the experiences awaiting them in the Maldives… the Sunny Side of Life.
Under this partnership, MMPRC has become the Exclusive Official Travel Destination Sponsor and also sponsored the Best British Film category of the National Film Awards UK. This collaboration will help to market the destination on the most viewed and engaging digital platforms to create widespread visibility of the Maldives in the UK.
Speaking on this collaboration, the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of MMPRC, Mr Thoyyib Mohamed noted that the UK and the Maldives share long-standing ties, and mutually support each other on national and global fronts.

As of 8th June, the UK is the second leading market to the Maldives with an arrival stat of 90,394, which is a total of 12.3% of the market share of the 732,884 total tourist arrivals to the country.
The 8th annual National Film Awards returns to London on the 4th of July with nominations already announced.
