For Amanda, a talented artist hailing from Cumbria, England, it was a childhood performance that ignited her lifelong passion for music. In an exclusive interview, Amanda shares her inspirations, unique style, and aspirations, as well as her latest release, “Rush.”
At just four years old, Amanda took the stage at a small village concert, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. “I remember watching adults in the audience crying as I performed,” she recalls. “I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but I knew that I loved the feeling of making people feel something through music. Describing her music as a fusion of warm, sultry electro-pop with a nostalgic touch, Amanda’s latest release, “Rush,” pays homage to the disco era while offering a contemporary twist. “It’s a feel-good record about letting go of the feelings that hold you back,” she explains. With its infectious melodies and captivating lyrics, “Rush” aims to uplift listeners and inspire them to embrace a sense of freedom.
When it comes to recording and songwriting, Amanda’s style varies from project to project. For her personal records, she often starts with a concept, allowing melodies to shape the lyrics. However, her approach can shift entirely depending on the specific project. As an accomplished songwriter, Amanda has written songs for various ad campaigns, including the theme song “Shining” for a World Cup campaign in Qatar. The campaign’s success led to it being awarded the prestigious World’s Leading Marketing Campaign at the World Travel Awards.
Looking ahead, Amanda envisions herself continuing to connect with people through her music. Her ultimate goal is to touch hearts, leaving a lasting impact on her listeners. As she states, “I would love to be able to continue connecting with people through music.”

How would you describe your music?
Rush pays homage to the disco era driven by warm sultry electro-pop tones. It’s a feel good record about letting go of the feelings that hold you back.
What would you say is your recording and songwriting style?
My songwriting style di ers from project to project. When I’m working on records for myself I like to start with a concept then play with Melodies and then translate those to lyrics. Every project is di erent, for example, I work on multiple ad campaigns that mean I’m writing to picture, the approach is entirely di erent but just as fun.
